Events

Arcana University, with its unique student body and faculty, offers a myriad of events that cater to the mystical, the mythical, and the academic. Here are some innovative campus events designed to enhance both learning and community spirit:

Full Moon Festival

Between weres, witches, and druids celebrating the full moon is a given. Each festival mixes highlights of different aspect of lunar magic, with storytelling, music, and a night market selling lunar-themed crafts and foods. Plus, the Full-Moon Fun-Run through the woods is open the everyone.

The Multiverse Faire

Twice a year, AU showcases cultures, technologies, and magics from various universes. Students and faculty can display artifacts, share stories, and perform demonstrations of their universe's unique characteristics. Plus the marketplace is amazing!!!

It includes an art show where students can display works inspired by their powers or home universes. This can include traditional art, digital media, sculpture, performance, and magical art, offering a glimpse into the multiverse's beauty and diversity.

And the Food Court is truly unbelievable.

Arcana University Homecoming

Homecoming at Arcana is just a little different. We're not really a football school but we have our own ways of having fun:

  • Wytchwar

Teams work together to play "Capture The Flag" and similar games by running mini-golems across a witch-designed and -developed obstacle course.
  • Dragon Polo

Imagine a combination of polo and lacrosse, but on dragons. It's as much fun as it sounds.
  • Quidditch

It was described as a fictional sport in Harry Potter, but with some clever magic we were able to make it real.
  • Spellcasting Tournaments

Magic users from different disciplines can compete in friendly duels, showcasing their spellcraft, strategic thinking, and magical creativity. Categories include elemental magic, illusion, and enchantment.
  • Psychic Games

Events designed to test and strengthen psychic abilities, including telepathy, clairvoyance, and psychokinesis. Activities might involve obstacle courses navigated blindfolded with only psychic guidance, or "guess the object" games for clairvoyants.
  • Potion Brewing Contests

Alchemists and potion masters can participate in timed challenges to create potions with specific effects, judged on creativity, effectiveness, and presentation.
  • Interdimensional Debate League

A debate club with a twist, where topics range from the ethics of time travel to the best forms of government for magical societies. Debates occur between students from different universes, offering a wide range of perspectives.

The Enchanted Garden Gala

With Witches, Druids, Dryads, and various nature elementals, our gardens are truly a wonder to behold. Our gardens are open all year round, but at the Sabbats our witches hold ceremonies surrounded by nature in the center of the gardens.

A formal event held in the university's magical gardens, where flora and fauna from across the universes are on display. The gala includes plant-based potion ingredients scavenger hunts and dancing under the stars.

And our garden of poisonous plants is second to none.

These events not only provide entertainment and education but also foster a sense of community among the diverse population of Arcana University, promoting cross-cultural and interdimensional understanding and camaraderie.
